omigawsh I fell...
FALLING down is not that bad. Staying down is bad.
I must chiong. T4 coming. EOY.
I must go up up up, not fall back to T1 results. 0.5 msg raise.
Only now I don't want raise. I want drop.
Aiming for A1 this term.
Prediction of no exemption.
Reflection in words are not good enough
Self Reflection is better
It actually works.
Science concepts--> Studied in advance
Digestive system?! Didn't we already learn this in P6?!
Oh, more in detail. I see.
So many scientific terms. I think T4s gonna be tough.

TEST!!!!
For T2 test i got something pretty good... but im not saying it here.
I need to revise, rework, relax!
Rinse~Repeat
So anyway, I studied weird stuff during holidays. Very weird stuff.
Apparently its something about heat transfer...
Convection, Radiation, Conduction
So hard T_T Nvr mind, next time learn :D
~~~~
T2 --> Not bad, but I expected higher marks. MSG was actually pretty good this term!
But I expect a fall next term. So hard >,<
T1 Test :)
I SCORED AN A1!!!
I expected much higher.
BUTITS LowER THAN MOST PEOPLE, a.k.a A LOWWWWW A1
:(
I need to get a higher A1 next time. My methods will prove well...
Cheers off then :)
FIRES!!! Hot, hot fires.
Dazzling: 1,500 °C (2,730 °F)
I didnt know, honest, that there were so many colours. There is something called a strike-back. It happens when too much air is being burned at the same time. The collar of the bunsen burner becomes hot and the flame will burn at the mouth of the gas jet and be green. This is dangerous and the flames are extremely hot.
Okay, though this post is alittle skimpy, I shall end it here!
Units
Units are very basic. They can link to the many different aspects of Mathmatics. For example, Mathematics teaches us about Significant Figures and conversion of units. Science applies those concepts and allows for greater accuracy of experiments.
We also learnt about the measuring instruments and other scientific equipment. My gawd, I never knew there were so many different equipment, I thought that one would suffice for all uses. Anyways, some examples:
Volume measurements
Pipette
Burette
Measuring Cylinder
Containers!
Bell jar
Test tube
Beaker
Flat bottomed flask
Gas Jar
Misc. :D
evaporating dish
Retort stand
Filter paper/funnel
Thistle Funnel
Alright, thats all :)
Kinetic Molecular Theory
Today we learnt about the kinetic molecular theory. I find it interesting (as I do for all science) that the concepts I learnt in Primary school can be further explained with this theory.
In the kinetic molecular theory:
Expansion happens due to the molecules gaining enough energy to vibrate faster and faster, until the molecules gained enough heat energy to weaken the intermolecular forces and break away. This can also explain the changes of state
(Solid -> Liquid -> Gas)
Molecules are so tiny. tiny little things that can only be seen with an electron microscope. Sidetracking.
Also, kinetic molecular theory can explain a host of other things, such as forces and other scientific phenomena.
OK, that should be enough!
WELCOME!
Welcome to my Science e-Portfolio! I decided to use blogger instead of wikispaces because the design is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye :) I hope you enjoy my E-Portfolio!
